Like many people entering later middle age, I knew I needed to be more active in order to be healthy, but it often seemed frustrating to try and specifically define what that meant.
I needed something tangible that could evaluate what my activities meant on a daily basis, and how they contributed towards my short and long term goals. What was the difference between a long and a short walk with the dog? How did vacuuming the house or doing work in the garden count towards fitness?
I've been so pleased with the guidance and encouragement that this discreet little gadget has provided! It assessed my starting point and in 12 weeks gradually but persistently encouraged me to move (literally) towards a healthier goal. Getting those little green lights on the monitor to get to 100% on a daily basis was something that kept me motivated and kept me moving.
I'm continuing on with the program; besides feeling better and losing weight the best result has been that exercise no longer feels like something I should do, it's become something I need and want to do.
